Tyson Kane was always known as the “cool” principal among his students, but they had no idea he could also teach them to dance. In the viral video below, Principal Kane debunks the myth that adults can’t dance. When the video begins, he is standing peacefully at the commencement of a school assembly; by the end, the students are stunned into silence as their principal coolly breaksdances in the center of the gym.
Kane told Business Wire that he has long hoped to be an educator and role model, as well as an advocate for high-quality education. His willingness to go to considerable efforts to connect with pupils is critical to his success, as evidenced by his desire to get down and boogie on the gym floor.
