An animal control department in New Mexico has determined that the dog that was discovered de.ad beside Gene Hackman and his wife most likely died as a result of a lack of resources, namely food and water.

According to the results of a necropsy that was acquired by The Associated Press, Zinna, the kelpie mix owned by Gene and Betsy Arakawa, most likely passed away as a result of malnutrition and dehydration.

According to the report, the animal control office in Santa Fe County saw that the dog’s stomach was without any contents, with the exception of a few hairs and a little bit of bile.

It was also claimed that the necropsy eliminated the possibility of the dog having died from an infectious condition, trauma, or poisoning as plausible reasons of loss.

It is not a major surprise that the dog was not eating or drinking; the unfortunate puppy was discovered de.ad inside a cage in a bathroom closet within the house, which is also where the remains of Gene and Betsy were discovered.

In accordance with what we have revealed, the official cause of loss for Gene is heart disease and severe Alzheimer’s disease, while Betsy passed away as a result of getting Hantavirus, a rare virus that is transmitted by rats and mice.

Betsy most likely passed away on February 11th, according to the official timetable, and Gene passed away on February 18th. Officials believe that Gene was unaware that she had passed away in the house owing to his Alzheimer’s disease.
