All of the judges favored the teen because his voice bore an uncanny resemblance to Elvis Presley’s.
It’s no wonder that Elvis Presley, one of the most iconic musicians in history, continues to inspire imitation. Yet while many attempt to channel his legacy, few come close to capturing the unique charm and vocal power that made him a legend. When someone does, the effect is electrifying—audiences feel it deep in their bones.

That rare magic happened during a recent episode of The Voice Kids Ukraine, when 13-year-old Yaroslav Karpuk took the stage and performed the Elvis classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The moment he began to sing, it was as if Elvis himself had returned. His tone, depth, and delivery were so remarkably similar that the judges and audience alike were completely spellbound.
Within the first 15 seconds, one of the judges hit the button and turned his chair, clearly captivated by what he was hearing. That single act ignited a wave of emotion—Yaroslav’s family, watching backstage, burst into cheers and tears. As the performance continued, the other judges couldn’t resist joining in.
By the end, all three judges had turned their chairs in admiration, signaling their desire to mentor the young singer. With the power now in his hands, Yaroslav had to choose which of the three would guide him through the next stages of the competition.
Unsurprisingly, he picked the judge who believed in him first—the one who had turned around in those unforgettable first moments.
