In the early 1960s, the twist was regarded highly provocative, with a lot of hip shaking and swinging arms, but it gradually grew milder over time. A group of eleven persons, mostly elderly, performed an epic line dance. Karen Tripp choreographed the ten stunning women and one male. Karen chose “Let’s Twist Again” by Chubby Checker as one of the most popular tracks for performing the twist.
“Absolute Beginner Line Dance” Their dancing steps, which encompassed 32 counts and 4 walls, were neither too fast nor too slow. They’re just fast enough to give the dancers a minor challenge.
They know what they’re doing. The dancers in the video would slide left and right, clap, and then turn in a different way. We’re confident that there aren’t many people who know how to perform these dances nowadays. Of course, there was a lot of twisting in their performance, but practically everyone feels the dancers did a great job with their line dance, and we completely agree.
