This 93-year-old woman gave up on singing. Wait to see what happened 80 years later…

Sandra, a 93-year-old lady, shocked witnesses by singing for the first time in decades.Sandra claimed that she began singing on the radio when she was seven years old and had opera training. Her best memory was performing alongside her sister at the 1939 World’s Fair. Shortly after her performance, her sister died, leaving behind three children.

“And I gave up singing,” Sandra stated. “Because she abandoned three children, someone needed to take care of them.” Sandra willingly set aside her own goals to raise her nieces and nephews.

Decades later, a fortuitous encounter transformed everything. Sandra came upon Reginald Guillaume, a guitarist, singer, and prominent YouTuber who invites strangers to perform with him for free.

In this video, he raises a sign inviting anybody to join him in singing when Sandra’s nephew wheeled her over to participate.

When given the unexpected opportunity to sing again, Sandra picked Dorothy Lamour’s ‘You’ll Never Know.’ Despite her age, her voice contained decades of emotion.

Her face shone with excitement as she finished. “Oh, I feel great! You’re all great, and singing brings happiness! “Singing is wonderful,” she said.

Sandra’s experience demonstrates that it is never too late to regain the gifts God has given us. Years passed, but her voice remained unheard. There may be something in your life that is worth revisiting.

When we share our gifts, we may cure ourselves and those around us.
