Enough is Enough: Britons Call for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Be Stripped of Royal Titles…

Frustration is mounting among the British public, with increasing calls for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to be stripped of their royal titles. The discontent was reignited after Prince Harry, 40, aired grievances about his strained family relationships in a BBC interview, just hours after losing a legal bid to reinstate taxpayer-funded security in the UK.

Critics argue that Harry chose to step back from royal duties and shouldn’t expect the public to cover his security costs.

A recent Express poll revealed overwhelming public sentiment—97% of 4,500 respondents said King Charles should revoke Harry’s title. A separate poll by Find Out Now showed that only 36% of Brits support Harry retaining his title, with 64% backing King Charles instead.

Adding to the controversy, Meghan Markle was recently spotted using her HRH (Her Royal Highness) title in a personal note attached to a gift basket—despite having agreed not to use the title after stepping back from royal duties in 2020.

While sources close to Meghan insist it was a private gesture, critics saw it as another breach of the agreement made with the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Some former supporters now accuse the couple of damaging the monarchy through their public statements and projects, including Harry’s memoir *Spare*, their Netflix series, and the explosive Oprah Winfrey interview.

With King Charles battling cancer, many view the couple’s continued public criticisms as poorly timed and disrespectful.

The palace had previously stated the Sussexes would no longer use their HRH titles after stepping down as working royals.
