Weddings are meant to be unique and remarkable. You do your hardest to have one of the best days of your life. Seeing couples go above and beyond for one another is lovely and inspiring; these kinds of moments are what create a fantastic video.
Niall Donnelly came up with a terrific idea to make his wedding truly unforgettable. He is the Irish band The Rockits’ leader and lead singer. Niall chose to perform “This I Promise You” by NSYNC for his future bride as she made her way down the aisle. He is accompanied by his sister, Bronagh Hackett, and his colleagues on guitars.
Bronagh reportedly offered it during the wedding rehearsal, but he turned it down until the wedding day, just a few minutes before the ceremony started, when he chose to sing for his bride! Although Niall and Bronagh had already performed at numerous weddings together, Niall acknowledged that he was nervous during his own. He added that when his sister finally noticed Jill next to him during their song, she started crying.
Even though Niall’s voice is a touch shaky at times—likely because he is anxious about what is happening—it is still amazing. In order to stand beside his wife, Jill, he assigns another woman to sing when she enters the church and walks down the aisle. But he picks up the song again when Niall and Jill arrive at the altar.
