He brought Elvis Vibes and country soul — unforgettable!

There are many amazing young stars on the Got Talent show, and some of them are even Elvis impersonators. Here’s a child who isn’t an imitation but has one of the AGT judges, Howie Mandell, describing him as the “new Elvis of country music.”

Drake Milligan of Fort Worth, Texas, has been performing for years, including a period mimicking his childhood idol Elvis. But as he got older, he became more serious about music, creating his own songs and playing with a Nashville-based band.

Drake now aims to utilize America’s Got Talent to begin his career, similar to how Elvis exploited the southern dance circuit to achieve popularity. AGT has started many artists’ careers, and Drake intends to be the next.

When Drake begins performing an original song, “Sounds Like Something I’d Do,” the crowd and judges realize they are seeing a remarkable young guy. And when he does a few “Elvis jiggles,” it’s easy to understand why he’s been likened to his boyhood idol. This is a fantastic audition.
