High school talent contests are supposed to be enjoyable, lighthearted occasions for students to display their skills, and usually, nobody expects anything particularly noteworthy. But a handful of Granbury High School students were able to elevate their performance to such a legendary level that it continues to provoke discussion today. When Matt Bersi, Hieu Tran, Ian Fisher, and Stephen Behrens collaborated to flawlessly reproduce the classic OK Go music video for “Here It Goes Again” in 2007, it was an unforgettable moment.

OK Go gained notoriety for their extremely creative music videos, one of which shows the band doing complex moves on a pair of treadmills. These high school students were so moved by it that they executed a flawless replica, and their performance went viral. Talk about accuracy and commitment! It’s really amazing how they managed to complete such a challenging dance without missing a beat!

In the words of one commenter, “This video is still relevant 18 years later.” I hope these legendary people are having the time of their life. “Never have I been so proud of a group of people I’ve never met,” another person added. A third said, “I watch this video again every couple of years to appreciate the quality of the early 2000s, the unpolished performance, the coordination, and most importantly, the friendship it symbolizes.” I hope these men stay in touch and remain close.
