Watch as a 60-year-old mechanic takes the stage and performs an incredibly popular song full of positive thoughts, contagious energy, and more wriggling and whining than you can bear

A 60-year-old mechanic from Wolverhampton astonished the judges and received the golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent.

Simon Cowell told AA member Donchez Dacres that people like him “are the reason we make this show” after he was cast in the live performances. Cowell’s colleague Judge David Walliams pressed the buzzer for Donchez, who grew up in Jamaica but now resides in Wolverhampton, after he got the audience on its feet with his original song, Wiggle Wine.

The roadside mechanic even had the judges dancing, with Walliams gyrating on Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden demonstrating their routines before joining Dacres on stage with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to dance to the tune.

Cowell informed him, “People like you are the reason we produce this show; you make it entertaining. “I really like you.” Walliams went on to say, “I’ve wiggled and whined my body, but I’ve never done both at the same time. “You embody the essence of radiant sunshine.”

Cowell later turned to the audience and said, “You could have just seen the winner of Britain’s Got Talent.”

The D-Day Darlings, a war-themed female choir, are hoping to join him after receiving four yeses from the judges for their performance of Vera Lynn’s We’ll Meet Again, sung in front of a montage of photos of their grandparents and great-grandparents who served in World Wars.

Simon Cowell was the only judge who didn’t join Donchez on stage.

Walliams told the women, “It’s a beautiful way of keeping their memories alive, as well as those of all the incredible men and women who served in WWII.”

Holden, who described the performance as “perfect for the royal family and the royal variety,” went on to say, “My own grandmother is 97 and fought in the war alongside my grandfather, and that is obviously who I was thinking about.”

“It is crucial that we preserve them as a generation; we should honor their spirit, determination, and selflessness.”
