The video of 12-year-old kid went viral, and even musician Calum Scott commented, ‘Where is this boy so I can hug him right now?!’

Renewing wedding vows is usually an emotional experience, but it becomes even more so when loved ones are actively involved.

Aiden, 12, recently went viral when a TikTok video of him singing during his parents’ vow renewal ceremony captured viewers’ hearts and attention.

The three-minute video clip, posted by filmmaker Danielle Tufano on April 12, has already earned about 4.6 million views and more than 871,000 likes.

Aiden explained that his mother suggested he sing during the ceremony to reaffirm his parents’ wedding vows. He accepted without hesitation and knew exactly what song he wanted to sing: Calum Scott’s “You Are the Reason.”

Aiden mentioned that he selected the song because it was nostalgic and nice. I adore my parents, which is why I chose that song to sing during the wedding.

Aiden felt frightened in front of so many people during the ceremony to reaffirm his parents’ wedding vows. He recalled, “But I was thrilled to be at the wedding and sing for my parents.”

Aiden’s nervousness gave way to emotion when he began singing. He suddenly grew upset, wiping away tears before regaining control and finishing his poignant solo.

He may have faltered at the beginning of the song, but Aiden was able to focus on the music and his parents, resulting in a genuinely unforgettable performance.

He continued, “I was very emotional at first, but then I forgot about it and let it out.”

The audience was just as moved. Kemorene Mills-Armstrong, Aiden’s mother, expressed that while Aiden sang and his parents renewed their wedding vows, it also moved other individuals to tears.

Kemorene stated, “When he started, I was very emotional.” The event began with a strong emotional atmosphere, and then the sounds of guests weeping in the background became audible. They were weeping, so I became even more teary-eyed, and I had to keep looking up because all of the tears would be streaming down. Overall, it was a truly remarkable occasion.

Kemorene and her husband, Kirkland Armstrong, reaffirmed their wedding vows on March 23 in Port St. Lucie, Florida, in front of their three boys, family, and friends.

Aiden had always enjoyed singing, and this was evident during his performance while his parents repeated their wedding vows. Aiden’s voice shook slightly, and he had to wipe away tears at first, but as the song proceeded, he got calmer and confident.

He performed well and passionately, and he definitely did credit to the song. Aiden intends to pursue his interest in singing through classes and hopes to meet his favorite performers someday. Aside from Calum Scott, he admires Bruno Mars and Charlie Puth.

Kemorene had published a video of Aiden singing on her TikTok page and was startled to see that her videographer’s post went viral.

She said, “I had no clue that would happen at all. But I’ve been reading the comments online, and I can’t believe how positive they are.” I’ve been crying most of the time because I couldn’t believe how much people loved him.”

The performance was so moving that Calum Scott himself left a remark.

Renewing wedding vows is always wonderful, but this occasion was made much more unforgettable by the overwhelmingly favorable response to Aiden’s singing.

“It’s a very special time for all of us,” Kemorene continued. Even at school, all of Aiden’s friends know about his singing, and the principal is aware as well. So it’s a very unique time.
